         Debra Cauthen has been in insurance since 1984, beginning as a receptionist and then moved into personal lines customer service for five years.  She became licensed in property, casualty, life and health.  She then went into sales and marketing in both personal and commercial insurance.  Giving clients the best possible quote for their insurance dollar is her goal.

         She is a native of Upson County graduating from Robert E, Lee High School and attending Georgia College and Georgia Southwestern before going into banking where she worked for fifteen years.

       She has always been involved in service projects for Spalding County.  She has served on the board of directors and has served as vice president of the Kiwanis Club of Griffin.  She was awarded Kiwanian of the year in 1994.

       She had also served as president for the American Business Women's Association, the Women's division of the Chamber of Commerce and the Flint River Independent Agents Association. Debra is a member of and on staff at the Mountain View Baptist Church in Thomaston, Georgia.
