Debra is a native of Griffin Georgia and a 1979 graduate of Griffin High School.  She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications from Georgia Southern College in 1984.

       Debra began her insurance career in 1988 with Pound & Whitworth Insurance Agency, starting as a receptionist. She then advanced into personal lines customer service, claims manager, and finally commercial lines customer service learning a broad base of skills.

       She continued with Millenium of Griffin Insurance Agency in the commercial lines department. She became vice-president and office manager of Millenium of Griffin Insurance Agency in 1997.  She earned her ACSR (Accredited Customer Service Representative) designation for both commercial and personal lines in 2000.

       She is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, the Home Builder's Association of Georgia, The Utility Club, and the National Shoot to Retrieve Field Trial Association.  She and her husband, Keith, are both active members of Oak Hill Baptist Church where she is a member of the Joyful Hearts Sunday School Class.  She enjoys weight training and jogging.
